Chelsea Extends Thomas Tuchel’s Contract

Chelsea football club has extended the contract of their head coach as a reward for leading them to secure the Champions League crown.

This was disclosed on their official website this afternoon, confirming that the German international contract has been extended for two years which will see him stay in the club till 2024.

According the statement in their website:

Our head coach took over the role in January and oversaw a rise up the Premier League table to a fourth-place finish, ensuring our place in the Champions League for 2021/22 even before being crowned its winners this season.

Thomas Tuchel also made a comment on his contract extension, saying there is far more to come from him and his boys.

According to his statement:

I cannot imagine a better occasion for a contract renewal. I am grateful for the experience and very happy to stay part of the Chelsea family.

Thereis far more to come and we are looking forward to our next steps with ambition and much anticipation.’

There have also been a report that next for Chelsea is Thiago Silva’s extension.
