The French national team head coach Didier Deschamps has praise N’Golo Kanté for his amazing performance for both club and country.
Kanté was among the players that guideded France to the 2018 world cup and also guided Chelsea to the Champions League last season.
According to Deschamps:
‘The midfielder works in the shadows,’ Deschamps said. ‘He is not given media attention. ‘From time to time, lights get shown on them, that’s the case for Kante now.’
‘He is above all the players his team-mates pick for their teams in training,’ the head coach revealed.
‘And he is the first name that a coach, a national team manager notes down when he is starting eleven.’
Chelsea Close In On Achraf Hakimi Signing
The blues are now favourite to sign Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan as PSG are set to pull out.
Chelsea matched PSG bid of €60M last week and poised currently as the number one contenders for the Moroccan International.
The player is reported to prefer a move to Chelsea than PSG because of his national teammate Hakim Ziyech.

The Blues are reportedly interested in signing Turkish International Orkun Kokcu
Kokcu was one of the stand out players in Eredivisie with Feyenoord. He is currently on national duty with his country in the Euro 2020.
Kokcu has four more years on his contract and has made 22 appearances for Feyenoord, scoring three goals and getting three assists.
