The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 comes with an amazing camera hardware, although wasn’t good enough to make our list of best camera phones of 2020 so far but it’s really a plus, considering it’s a mid-range smartphone.
It features a quad-camera setup of 64MP wide primary camera, an 8MP Ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera and 2MP depth camera. This rear camera setup is capable of shooting photos in HDR and also shoot 4k Videos at 30fps.
Going over to the selfie, it comes with a single 16MP selfie camera which can take photos in HDR, Panorama and also shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.
Design and Display
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro comes with the same Gorilla glass 5 back, upfront and a plastic frame as its predecessor but the gradient design is absent, what we have is a plain glossy design with curve ages.
It houses a squared quad camera setup at the back and a camera flash below. There is also a Redmi tag which indicates it’s a Xiaomi Redmi smartphone.
On the front, you got a 6.67-inches display which has a tiny single punch hole that houses the selfie camera. It will come in three different colours which includes: Aurora Blue, Glacier White, Interstellar Black.
Hardware and Software
We have an improved performance here compare to the one we saw in its predecessor, it comes with an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor which is supported with Adreno 618 graphics card.
On the storage, it comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage which has an expansion slot via MicroSD card up to 512GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro runs Android 10 (Q) version of operating system which is supported with the Xiaomi’s MIUI 11 version of user interface.
