Xiaomi Redmi 9i with 4GB RAM and 128GB Storage Launched in China

Xiaomi has launched a new device into their Redmi 9-series called Redmi 9i in China today and it packs the same specs with the Redmi 9A. The only major difference between the two devices is the bigger RAM and inbuilt memory in Redmi 9i.

The Xiaomi Redmi 9i comes with a 6.53-inches IPS LCD display which has a teardrop notch design and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It also offers 720 x 1600 HD+ resolution pixels.

On the hardware aspect, the Redmi 9i comes with Helio G25 chipset which will be perfect for gaming and multimedia functionalities.

On the memory, as said earlier, it comes with a bigger 4GB RAM of LPDDR4x. On the in-built storage, it has two variants; 64GB and 128GB storage model.

The camera department comprises of a 13-megapixlel primary camera and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. It comes with the same operating system like the Redmi 9A, Android 10.0 which is supported with MIUI 12 version of user interface.

It lacks 5G network but supports 4G VoLTE. Other connectivity includes a dual SIM slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, MicroUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack.

The Redmi 9i price differs based on the storage variant, the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage will cost Rs. 8,299(~$133) and the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage will cost (~$126). The device will come in three different colours which includes; nature green, sea blue and midnight black.

The smartphone first sale will go through online stores like Mi.com, Mi Store and Flipkart on September 18.
