The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with an improve camera setup than what we saw on the standard Redmi Note 8. It houses same quad camera setup but this time, an improved main sensor of 64 megapixels for wide capturing. The second sensor is an 8 megapixels which handles ultrawide shooting, a 2 megapixels macro sensor and another 2 megapixels sensor for depth sensing.
On the front, it comes with amazing 20MP single selfie camera which has the ability to record in HDR and up to 1080p at 30fps.
Design and Display
The Xiaomi Redmi note 8 comes with the same glass front and glass back design like the standard Redmi Note 8 and also have the same Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both sides but the Redmi Note 8 pro has a bigger screen of 6.53-inches.
Inside the notch on the front is an impressive selfie camera and a speakerphone grill.
Going to the back, it has a different camera placement, you will notice that the rear camera is placed on the center, though it still maintained the horizontal approach.
We still have the fingerprint sensor attached with the rear setup and a Redmi branding situated below which indicates it’s a Xiaomi Redmi smartphone.

On the OS, it runs Android 9.0 Pie version of operating system which is supported with Xiaomi’s MIUI 10 version of user interface.
