NPower Latest News For Today Monday 8th November 2021

Welcome to Flippstack, we have compiled all the Latest Npower News for today. So if you are among the beneficiaries, make sure to read this article to the end and always come back from time to time to check for more updates.

1. NASIMS Adds Payroll Tab On Beneficiaries Profiles As Monthly Stipend Set To Be Completed Before End Of This Week

The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has added a payroll Tab on beneficiaries’ profiles which is one step ahead of ensuring that Batch C Stream 1 beneficiaries receive their October Stipend without more delay.

The Payroll Tab serves as a bank statement that showcases all details of payment received by each beneficiary and can be used in the resolution of payment issues when such arises.

Beneficiaries have been urged by the Npower management to keep calm while their payments are being processed and will be made into their valid bank accounts which were provided by the beneficiary during registration.
The Npower Batch C Beneficiaries should note that once the payment begins, not every beneficiary will receive it at the same time. The beneficiaries should also note that all payments are concluded within 48hours once the payment commences.

2. Npower Batch C Stream 1 October Payment Update

You can recall that the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development declared on 4th October 2021 as the official date for resumption of “work” by the beneficiaries of the Stream 1 Npower Programme.

This only means that the Ministry will never pay for a month the beneficiaries did not work for as Npower is a work, earn and learn programme. The opposite may have happened in the past but do not expect it in this current leadership.

Some online media has suggested that the payment will be made by the 25th of this month but the 25th of any Month is not a good expectant date for Npower payment. This is because Npower beneficiaries are not permanent Federal workers and the Npower Programme is not institutionalized under the Civil Service Commission.

October payment being the first Stipend to be received by the Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries, would take a little time because when the Ministry clears for payment, the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation will have to feed the data into the Government Integrated Financial Management Information System server.

When all are set in the server, subsequent payment can then be easy and, would be paid earlier before the 7th of the following Month. The beneficiaries of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme should expect their October Stipend from 1st to 10th November 2021.

3. Nasims Gives Update On Pending Status And Pass Status

The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has sent an important notice for Npower Batch C Beneficiaries regarding beneficiaries verification status, so if you are one of the Batch C beneficiaries make sure you read until the end.

The Npower management on one of their social media accounts has urged beneficiaries not to report to their PPA if their NASIMS status has not changed to pass or still showing pending.

If your verification status has never changed to pass for once after your physical verification process and it’s still pending till now, kindly note that your physical verification exercise was not successful and you are not expected to report to your PPA.

However, should there be any arrangement for supplementary verification for all concerned, it will be communicated across in due course.

4. N-Power News: FG Kick-Off N-Knowledge Training Nationwide

The Federal Government has disclosed the commencement of the N-Knowledge Programme nationwide, covering the six geo-political zones of the country, including the Federal Capital Territory.

This was made known by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, via a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary, Bashir Alkali on Wednesday.

She stated that the programme is focused on 20,000 young Nigerians, to equip them with the relevant skills and certification to become competent workers, innovators and entrepreneurs prepared for both the domestic and global digital job market.

The N-Power Knowledge programme is the Federal Government’s first step towards diversifying to a knowledge economy. This programme will work alongside the planned eight innovation hubs across the country to provide incubation and acceleration of the technology and creative industries.

5. Management Clarifies The General Public On NPower Batch D Application

The Npower Management has come out to clarify the general public on the NPower Batch D Application news which has been spreading around social media.

The ministry has used its Instagram official account to clarify the general public, stating that the news about the NPower Batch D Application is fake, thereby urgings the general public to ignore the message.

The information by the famed scheme’s handlers became necessary as a viral WhatsApp message claimed that the application for N-Power Batch D is ongoing, and ends “next week”. Now, N-Power has branded it “fake news”.

The general public is to note that there is nothing like Npower Batch D rather what will follow next is Npower Batch C Stream 2 which will consist of the remaining 490,000 beneficiaries to round up the 1,000,000 beneficiaries scheduled to take part in Npower Batch C.
