1. FG Officially Flags Off Npower Batch C

Flippstack understands that the Federal Government has officially flagged off the commencement of the long-awaited Npower Batch C across the federation.

This was made known by the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouk, who disclosed that 510,000 beneficiaries have made the final list of the successful beneficiaries of the 2020/2021 Batch C Stream 1 N-power Programme.

Speaking during the flag-off of the N-power Batch C Stream 1 in Abuja, Monday, the Minister stated that “under Batch C Stream 1, a total of 450,000 beneficiaries have been selected to benefit under the Graduate component, while 60,000 beneficiaries will be Non-Graduate beneficiaries”.

Farouk also made it known that “Batch C is divided into 2 streams: Stream C1 for 510,000 beneficiaries and stream C2 for 490,000 beneficiaries which are to be flagged off at a later date.”.

2. When Npower Batch C Stream 1 Payment Will Commence

Following the flag-off of the N-power Batch C Stream 1, it is assumed that the programme has started as the Minister has issued an engagement letter to 510 beneficiaries used to celebrate the flag-off in Abuja.

However, many of the beneficiaries have not been officially posted to their Places of Primary Assignment.

Immediately the posting is made and the beneficiaries report to their PPAs, full engagement has been activated and the beneficiaries would be paid by the end of that month.

The Month of August is almost ending and the beneficiaries can not be paid for a month they did not work for. Hence, payment commences by the end of September 2021. An interval of 1-10 days is usually given to process the payment after the month-end, however, the Minister has promised prompt payment through the introduction of NASIMS Platform and Management.

3. NPower Releases USSD Support Code *45665#

Federal Government has launched the commencement of Npower batch C stream 1,  following the flag off of the Programme, the management has released a USSD code to help Npower volunteers access information.

To ensure that the challenges of communication are addressed, regarding the limitation of information flow and internet access across the country, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs has provided access to information via a USSD code. The USSD short code *45665# will provide the required connectivity and technical support for the provision of information services to our beneficiaries”.

In order to use the Npower USSD Short Code, all you need to do is to dial *45665# on your mobile device.

4. Npower Batch C Stream 1 Advised To Download And Print PPA Deployment Letter

All Batch C Stream 1 beneficiaries should note that they can view or download your Npower PPA letter on your phone before going to the cyber cafe to print it out.

Beneficiaries should also note that they are to resume/start work within the first 3 days of posting. On resumption, they will be assigned to a supervisor that will appraise them.

Below are the simple step on how to download your PPA deployment letter from your NASIMS dashboard.

1. Go to the NASIMS portal (nasims.gov.ng).

2. Login to your dashboard with your email address and password.

3. Click on the ‘Deployment’ tab to view your N-power deployment details.
