1. NIRSAL Microfinance Bank Non-Interest Banking Portal Goes Live
Nirsal Microfinance Bank has launched a non-interest banking portal for businesses and households that have been impacted negatively by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Nirsal Microfinance Bank disclosed the launching of the non-interest banking portal on their official Instagram account, stating that it was the decision of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to extend a non-interest window to businesses and households that have been impacted negatively by the Covid-19 pandemic.
They also went further to state the criteria MSMEs need to meet before being eligible for the non-interest loan and they also made it known that the financing limit for MSMEs is N2,500,000 while Household is N1,000,000.
2. What Applicants That Are Not Receiving Messages From NMFB Must Do
Nirsal Microfinance Bank has given instruction to Targeted Credit Facility (TCF) Loan Applicants on what to do if an applicant is not receiving messages from them.
The Nirsal Microfinance Bank has urged TCF applicants that are not receiving their messages to deactivate “Do Not Disturb” on their phone in order to start receiving messages NMFB.
The NMFB stated: If you are not receiving our messages check your Do Not Disturb (DND) status and if it is active, follow the steps below to de-activate it.
1. Send ”STATUS” to 2442 for ALL NETWORKS
2. Send “ALLOW” to 2442 for MTN and Airtel
3. Text ”STOP” to 2442 for Etisalat and Glo.
3. Nirsal Microfinance Bank Refutes Claims of Shutting Out 100,000 Loan Applicants
The Nirsal Nirsal Microfinance Bank has discredited the claims that it shut out applicants of the Agribusiness/Small and Medium Enterprise Investment Scheme (AGSMEIS) by conniving with Entrepreneurship Development Institutes to extort money from the applicants.
NMFB described the claims that 100, 000 loan applicants from Anambra State were shut out of the scheme as, “malicious,”, noting that it has since inception disbursed N101bn to 26,274 farmers under the AGSMEIS Loan Scheme.
The bank also dismissed claims that it conspired with some Enterprises Development Institutions (EDIs) to extort money from loan applicants with the promise to grant them approvals for their loan requests.
4. Nirsal Microfinance Bank Warns Loan Applicants On Fake Website
The Nirsal Microfinance Bank has alerted its loan Applicants on a fake website sending a loan approval congratulatory message to AGSMEIS Loan applicants thereby requesting money. So if you are one of the NMFB loan applicants make sure you read until the end.
The Nirsal Microfinance Bank has warned loan applicants to disregard any text message from this website https://paystack.com/pay/nmfb-agsmeis which has been sending a congratulatory loan approval message to AGSMEIS applicants and also asking applicants to pay a sum of N3000 for issue resolution.
Nirsal Microfinance Bank made it clear on their official Instagram account that the website https://paystack.com/pay/nmfb-agsmeis is not in any way affiliated to NIRSAL Microfinance Bank Ltd and also warned applicants that they would never ask for money to help you access the AGSMEIS or Covid-19 TCF Loan, thereby encouraging applicants never to pay anyone who seeks to collect money from you.
