UEFA Champions League 2021/22 Quarter-Final Draw – All You Need To Know
The UEFA Champions League 2021/22 quarter-final and semi-final draw will take place today as the eight clubs for the quarter-final has been known after Manchester City, Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Villarreal, Benfica and Bayern Munich all made it through to the next stage.
The UEFA Champions League quarter-final, semi-final and final draws has been scheduled to hold at the mid-day hours of today Friday 18th March 2022 at the house of European Football in Nylon, Switzerland.
Former Manchester United defender, Mikael Silvester has officially announced his selection by UEFA to be among the officials that will be doing the draw today at Switzerland.
How The Champions League Quarter-final & Semi-final Draw Work
The draw will set the ties for the quarter-finals and semi-finals, and a draw will also be held to determine the ‘home’ team for the final, for procedural reasons.
The draws are open, so there is no seeding or country protection. Any team can be drawn against any other team.
The first team drawn plays its first match at home, against the second team drawn.
