FG Commence N-Skills Entrepreneurship Training In Bauchi State

Flippstack reports that yesterday, HM Sadiya Umar Farouq officially kicked off the N-Skills Training on Life, Vocational, and Entrepreneurship Skills in Bauchi State.

The N-Skills programme is in line with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) for the development, classification, and recognition of skills, knowledge, and competencies acquired by individuals, irrespective of where and how the training or skill is acquired.

The Ministry is working with carefully selected consulting firms to provide the N-Skills training services for 6,475 unemployed youths across the Federation. N-Skills will help in bridging the gap in demand for standard and market-relevant skills.

NASIMS Warns Prospective Npower Beneficiaries Over Fake News

The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, disaster management and social development have warned the general public and prospective Npower volunteers to beware of fake news.

The warning came after the ministry noticed an online publication claiming that 390,000 N-Power Batch C Stream Graduates Being Onboarded as seen in the image above. The management has, however, advised the public to stay tuned to their official channels for authentic updates.

Before now, the Nasims team had warned the Npower batch C stream 2 applicants to beware of fake cloned websites demanding for #500 enlightenment fee. Npower management does not request Money to enlist selected applicants. Take note so that you won’t be scammed.

NASIMS Gives Important Update On January, February And March NPower Stipends

The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS), has given clarification on the delay of Npower January stipend payment, Npower February stipend payment, and Npower March stipend payment to Npower beneficiaries.

“Please note, that Nasims/Npower are official platforms under the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs with reputable staff, and as such, prior to any publication all posts or press releases pass through the process of scrutiny to ensure absolute conformity to ethics. As a matter of fact, vulgar words are highly prohibited not only in our ethics but also informal settings.

“To that effect, Nasims/N’Power can Never reciprocate indignant reactions from beneficiaries as a result of payment delay with a sore update, but always responsive to the fact as we chose our words correctly and appropriately.

“Therefore, Nasims/Npower hereby exonerates itself from such vicious publication emanating from the cloned site. Be wary of your source of information and please, stay glued to the right channel for authentic information. Thank you!”

NASIMS Releases New Update On Npower Batch C January Stipend

The National Social Investment Management System NASIMS has released a new update regarding the January Payment of the Npower Batch C stipend.

The Npower management, through their Facebook page, stated reasons why they can’t tell the Npower Batch C beneficiaries the January Exact Payment Date.

According to NASIMS, the January 2022 payment is currently being reviewed and is at the concluding stage. To that effect, payment will be initiated any time soon while all 2021 outstanding are gradually being sorted out. Read More

 

Nasims Warns Over Npower Stream 2 Fake N500 Enlightenment Fee

The Management of Npower Programme Nasims has Warned Npower Stream 2 applicants Over the Fake N500 Enlightenment Fee.

As a matter of fact, Npower/Nasims can and will NEVER request monetary payment of any kind from applicants to be enlisted/shortlisted in any of the programs, as this deceptive approach contradicts the purpose of the scheme and what we stand for.

Kindly DISREGARD such deceptive chunks stemming from clone sites aimed at preying on gullible clams.

NASIMS Sends New Notice On Batch C Stream 2 Physical Verification Exercise

The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has sent a notice to prospective Npower Batch C Stream 2 applicants regarding fake information on the physical verification exercises.

NASIMS disclosed this on their Facebook page, where they stated that there is no official announcement regarding the commencement of the Physical Verification exercise for Npower Batch C stream 2 applicants.

“ATTENTION!!!

“Please note that there is NO official announcement regarding the commencement of the Physical Verification exercise for Npower Batch C stream 2 applicants.”

“Any publication containing such malicious information is simply fake, misleading and should be disregarded.”

“Should there be such exercise in the nearest future, a post shall be put up to that effect across all our social media platforms.

Npower Sends New Important Notice To N-BUILD Beneficiaries

The Npower management has sent a new notice to N-BUILD beneficiaries as training is set to commence soon.

This was made known by Npower on its official Twitter account where they confirmed that the Federal Government has approved the training of 50,000 N-Build beneficiaries.

However, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq has formerly hinted on the training At the Federal Executive Council on Wednesday, where the National Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Industrial Training Fund (ITF), National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, Hydraulic Equipment Development Institute (HEDI) were given the nod to train the beneficiaries for 9 months.

FG Approves To Train 50k Npower Non-Graduate Beneficiaries

The Federal Government has approved the training of 50,000 Non-Graduate N-Power beneficiaries through four of its agencies.

This was disclosed by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq At the Federal Executive Council on Wednesday, where the National Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Industrial Training Fund (ITF), National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, Hydraulic Equipment Development Institute (HEDI) were given the nod to train the beneficiaries for 9 months.

In her presentation, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq stated that the Ministry is coordinating the implementation of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) in line with its mandate of alleviating poverty, social inclusion, and youth empowerment.

6.4 Million Applied For N-Power Batch-C Programme

The Federal Government received a total of 6.4 million applications for its N-Power Batch-C youth empowerment scheme, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq, announced on Tuesday.

Speaking in Abuja at the humanitarian ministry open house event/inauguration of Internally Displaced Persons Policy, she stated that 510,000 applicants had been enrolled, while 490,000 would come on board.

Farouq said, “The ministry successfully exited the 500,000 Batches A and B N-Power beneficiaries in 2020 and received about 6.4 million applications for Batch C.

“From Batches A and B, 109,823 beneficiaries have gone on to set up businesses in their communities, underlining and highlighting the impact and importance of the N-Power Programme.

“Under Batch-C stream 1 there are 510,000 currently enrolled and benefitting from the programme, while an additional 490,000 will be enrolled following presidential approval to increase the number to one million.”

NSIP Commences Taking Of Beneficiaries Attendance in Their Various PPA

Flippstack gathered that the NSIP independent monitoring team is going round the PPA of Npower batch C1 beneficiaries to take attendance. In line with this, Npower beneficiaries are advised to be present all the time at their various PPA to avoid missing attendance.

It is advisable to erase the erroneous perception of NPower as a “national cake”. The Npower volunteers should take the programme seriously as there is strict monitoring of the beneficiaries.
