Danny Drinkwater Moves On Loan
Chelsea and English midfielder Danny Drinkwater has secured a loan move to Championship side Reading on a season-long loan for the 2021/22 Season. He becomes the second Chelsea player to move to Reading on loan after Baba Rahman who moved earlier in the transfer window.
It is a return to English football for Drinkwater, who spent the last term in Turkey with Kasimpasa after previous loan spells at Burnley and Aston Villa.
The English International has made 23 appearances for Chelsea, scoring that solitary goal, with his most recent competitive match for Chelsea coming in the 2018 Community Shield.
Bakayoko Completes Seria A Loan Move
Chelsea and French midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has returned to AC Milan on a two years second loan spell with the Italian giant which will see him stay with the club until June 2023.
Bakayoko will be meeting familiar faces at San Siro especially his Chelsea teammates Tomori and Giroud that joined the Italian giants earlier in the transfer window.
The Midfielder spent his last season at Napoli and also AC Milan 2018/19 campaign, so he knows the Italian League very well.
Sterling Signs New Contract
Dujon Sterling has secured a loan move to Championship side Blackpool after signing a new two years contract with Chelsea which will see him stay as a Chelsea player until June 2023.
The English International will be spending the 2021/22 season on a long-season loan to Blackpool.
The 22-year-old previously spent time on loan with Coventry City, where he was a regular in the starting line-up, before stepping up to the Championship with Wigan Athletic for 2019/20.
Sevilla Demanding €70 million for Chelsea target Kounde
Sevilla is demanding €70 million for Kounde and Chelsea will have to increase their offer if they want to land the defender or find a way to convince Sevilla to sell him at a reduced price.
Sevilla has turned down a bid worth €55 million (£47m/$64m) from Chelsea for Jules Kounde, according to report.
The Blues are keen to sign the 22-year-old France defender before the deadline after making room in the squad by selling Kurt Zouma to West Ham.
Chelsea will try to sign him and Saul Niguez before the Transfer Window closes today.
