Chelsea Injury Update Ahead of Arsenal Match

Chelsea returns back to action tomorrow against Arsenal in the EPL and they will be hoping to continue with their fine form which saw them defeat Real Madrid and Manchester City in their last two matches.

Chelsea head coach, Thomas Tuchel has confirmed during his pre-match interview this afternoon that  Kovacic and Christensen will be out of tomorrow fixture against Arsenal due to injury.

According to Thomas Tuchel when asked if Kovacic will be involved in tomorrow’s game he said

“No, Kova is not ready for tomorrow”

“We have many matches coming up and his personal race is postponed to try and make it to be in the squad for our FA Cup fixture at Wembley”

“With Andreas, the injury was better than we feared, much better.

“We hope he will be back for one of the two matches against Leicester City but it will be tough one for him and we won’t rush him”

The blues coach is hoping the defender will return to action sooner than expected.

He also confirmed other players are fit and ready for selection for tomorrow match.
