What You Need To Know About Nirsal
The Nigeria Incentive-Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL Plc.) is a US$500million Non-Bank Financial Institution wholly-owned by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) created to Redefine, Dimension, Measure, Re-Price and Share agribusiness-related credit risks in Nigeria.
Nirsal was established in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) and the Nigerian Bankers’ Committee in 2013 which the Nirsal Microfinance Bank (NMFB) was later created to make the disbursement of loans easier for the applicants.
How To Transfer Your NMFB Loan To Your Bank Account
There are two ways to transfer your Nirsal Loan to your bank account:
1. You can conveniently make a transfer to anyone from your NMFB account using the bank’s USSD code *646#. For you to use the USSD code, make sure is the SIM card you used during your application. Dial the USSD code and follow the instructions to achieve that.
2. You can transfer your money to your bank account using the Nirsal Microfinance Bank Mobile App. All you need to do is to download the app on PlayStore, register, and log in to start using it.
