Chelsea Interested In Signing Luis Diaz
Chelsea are reportedly interested in Columbian and Porto star Luis Diaz, as they look to strengthen their squad before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
According to the report from Mais Football, Chelsea has been analyzing the 24-year-old’s performances for club and country and see him as a potential signing this summer.
The 24-year-old helped Porto secure a league and cup double and also led the Portuguese giants to the Champions League quarter-finals which they were knocked out by Chelsea last season.
The report also revealed that the player’s representatives have traveled to England for talks over a move to the Premier League.
Chelsea Adds Coman To List Of Potential Signing
Chelsea and Thomas Tuchel are interested in signing Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman.
The French international still has two years contract with Bayern Munich but he is open to negotiation with other clubs and Chelsea is one of the clubs that is eyeing to sign him. The 24-year-old scored eight goals and picked up 15 assists in the German giants’ title-winning season.
‘A move away is not ruled out but Bayern’s price appears to have changed Coman’s stance,’ the report claims. ‘It’s stated that he can now imagine leaving free of charge in 2023 just like David Alaba.’
Lukaku Compared To Drogba
Lukaku has been compared to former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba by BBC Sport Journalist Garth Crooks.
According to Garth Crooks:
‘He has worked extremely hard for his success,’ Crooks said. ‘He played for West Bromwich Albion, Everton, Manchester United, Inter Milan and has now returned to Chelsea where it all started.
‘However, what I see at this stage of his career is another Drogba. The player’s touch with his back to goal is better and his all-round football contribution is much improved.’
‘Arsenal couldn’t handle him,’ Crooks added. ‘Most other teams in the Premier League are going to have the same problem this season against Lukaku.’
Chelsea Pushing To Sign Jules Kounde
Chelsea are close to completing the signing of Jules Kounde from Sevilla as they have their final bid ready for submission. Chelsea are currently waiting for Westham to complete the signing of Kurt Zouma before completing Kounde deal.
Work is in progress on both Saul and Kounde. Kounde has already agreed on personal terms with Chelsea since July and he has today followed Chelsea’s official Instagram page.
