New GoalKeeper Joins Chelsea

Chelsea have announced the signing of former Fulham goalkeeper, Marcus Bettinelli on a two-year contract which will see him stay with the club until 2023.

The 29-year-old will replace Willy Caballero who left the club this summer as the third-choice goalkeeper ahead of the 2021-22 season.

He was signed as a free agent after his contract expired with Fulham at the end of his deal.

Chelsea linked with Saul Niguez

Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Atletico Madrid’s Spanish Midfielder Saul Niguez as Thomas Tuchel looks to boost his midfield options.

According to the report, ‘Thomas Tuchel is the force behind the transfer, he wants Saul Niguez and both the Chelsea management are set to back him.

Although, both Liverpool and Manchester United are also interested in the 26-year-old. Barcelona too was reportedly interested in a swap deal with Antonie Griezman which failed.

Chelsea Pushing To Sign Kounde

Chelsea and Sevilla are discussing to reach an agreement for Jules Koundé/Kurt Zouma swap deal. Talks progressing – Chelsea now offering around €30/35m and Zouma included in the negotiation.

Personal terms are not a problem for Koundé who’s waiting to join Chelsea.

Swansea Make Enquiry For Morris

Swansea City have contacted former Chelsea midfielder and assistant head coach Morris to become the club’s next head coach.

Morris was Frank Lampard’s assistant coach when Lampard was Chelsea head coach. He will be looking to utilize those experience when he signs for Swansea.

The 42-year-old will be looking to replace Steve Cooper who left the Welsh side after two years in charge.

Brazilian Legend Hails Jorginho

Brazilian Legend Roberto Carlos has hipped praise on Jorginho for his outstanding display in helping Italy win the Euro 2020 tournament.

According to Roberto Carlos:

‘Any top team would miss Jorginho,’ he said. ‘He has technique, vision and this ice-cool calmness.

‘He always knows the best thing to do.’

‘He’s fantastic at winning back the ball,’ the former World Cup winner added. ‘His positioning is remarkable in that sense. Jorginho was decisive for Italy and Chelsea.

‘After he helped them win the Europa League and then the Champions League, the English fans ought to build a statue for him!’
