Chelsea linked with Tapsoba
Chelsea are linked with Bayer Leverkusen center back Edmond Tapsoba. The Burkina Faso international is in Chelsea list of defenders to buy this summer as they look to strengthen their defence line.
According to Metro , the defender gave an update on his on his future in Germany as he continues to be linked to Europe clubs.
He stated:
‘With Chelsea, for the moment, there is nothing concrete, nothing official,’ the centre-back said. ‘What I can is that I will start my season with Bayer Leverkusen.
‘We keep our fingers crossed for God to guide us to the right path.’
Both Arsenal and Manchester United are also interested in signing him.
Petit Hints On Chelsea Signing Haaland
Former Chelsea player believes Erling Haaland will be the perfect striker for Chelsea to sign this season.
He went ahead to respond to reports linking Chelsea to the 20-year-old Norwegian.
According to Petit:
‘Chelsea need a striker and someone who scores a lot of goals,’ Petit said. ‘Haaland is the answer.
‘He is strong, powerful and young with a bright future in front of him.’
‘Offensively, he could become a finisher at Chelsea,’ Petit continued. ‘I can imagine his relationship with Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech making him score lots of goals at Stamford Bridge.’
Sutton Praises Jorginho
Jorginho has received praise from Chris Sutton after his stunning game-winning penalty that helped his team defeat Spain to reach the Euro 2020 final.
The pundit stated that the penalty could help him win the Ballon d’Or.
According to Chris Sutton:
‘How do you do that when there’s so much pressure?’ Sutton asked after the game. ‘He watches the goalkeeper to see where he’s going to move and you have to have so much courage and conviction to take a penalty like that.
‘You have to get that spot on, or you look idiotic. But to back yourself in that moment, that tells you everything you need to know about Jorginho and his confidence.’

New Contract for Youth Players
According to Chelsea, Teddy Sharman-Lowe and Jimi Tauriainen will be signing a new professional deals with the club at Cobham this week, which will see them stay with the club until at least 2024. Meanwhile, Joe Haigh has committed himself to the Blues until 2023.
Ziyech Staying At Chelsea This Season
Chelsea will not be letting Hakim Ziyech leave the club this summer. It was reported last week that Roma has paused their interest of signing Hakim Ziyech, it was as a result of Chelsea rejecting their bid and also making it clear Hakim is not for sell this summer.
