N-power Batch C: Lists of Beneficiaries Yet To Reach The States

The list of the 500,000 chosen N-power Beneficiaries to partake in the 2020/2021 Batch C N-power Programme is yet to arrive at the State National Social Investment Offices.

This is against a broadly circulated claim that the List of the Beneficiaries has been dispatched to the States ahead of deployment and Physical Verification.

In a phone call discussion with the Enugu State Focal Person on NSIP, Dr. Innocent Ogbonna, Daily Info Update gathered that the lists have not gotten to the States even as the news of deployment filters in the air.

Dr. Ogbonna is confirmed to have received several inquiries from the N-power applicants in the State who persist in getting credible information from reliable sources.

According to Dr. Ogbonna, he said:

As I speak, the list has not been received by us. Many applicants have been asking based on the rumours they have heard.

What we have done is that we have sent the list of all the Places of Primary Assignments in the States to NASIMS. They will do the deployment and forward the list to us.

So when we receive the list, it will be a full list containing the deployment information of all the beneficiaries. But as at this moment, no list has been received by the States.

Speaking on Physical Verification, Dr. Ogbonna noted that it was unclear how NASIMS intends to conduct the Physical Verification and no date has been communicated to them to quell the wide claim that it begins yesterday, 25th June 2021.

However, the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) had responded to inquiries stating that the Deployment of the successful Batch C N-power Beneficiaries would commence this week.
