Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has asked all its officers to ensure compliance on all COVID-19 protocols issued made available by the government and the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.

The security operatives were in a statement made available by the State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu,  on Thursday, December 31 directed to enforce the 12 am to 4 am curfew and also ensure the total closure of night clubs, bars, lounges, event centres, amongst others.

Naija News understands that the directive was contained in the statement signed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi today.

The directive was coming at a time when churches have adjusted their plans for December 31 to January 1 crossover services on the night.
