Poco M2 Pro launched in india

Poco has lauched Poco M2 Pro in India targeting the mid-range market in india. The Poco M2 Pro being another value-for-money smartphone has fast charging capabilities and a Dual-tone design making these the only major differences between the phone and Redmi Note 9.

The Poco M2 Pro arrived in the same market as the Redmi Note 9. The Poco M2 Pro was expected to launch as a revamped model of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Global edition for India. The new Poco device is powered with 5,000mAh battery and a 33W rapid charging technology as well as the two-tone design from the global edition of the Redmi Note 9.

The device comes with a 48MP quad camera setup at the back. The primary sensor features are 48MP, 1.6μm 4-in-1, 6P lens, ƒ/1.79 aperture. Other three secondary sensors include 5MP (Macro), 8MP (Ultra wide) and 2MP (Depth). On the front, it comes with a 16MP selfie camera which supports night mode.  The device support 4K video recording at 30fps and also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack which can be used to plug external mics as well and a USB Type-C port.

Poco M2 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 395 PPI and Corning Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both front and back for a better protection. The camera module is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device supports dual VoLTE along with VoWiFi. It’s a 4G dual SIM phone with a dedicated microSD card slot that supports up to 512GB storage.

The smartphone will support face unlock and also comes with a physical fingerprint sensor on the side which is integrated with the power/wake button, just like the Poco X2. The device runs Android 10 and Poco promises Android 11 update as well. As the device runs Snapdragon 720G processor, there is support for ISRO’s NavIC satellite communication as well, which is seen as an Indian alternative to GPS.

The Poco M2 Pro will arrive in three models; 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The three models will carry a price tag of Rs. 13,999 (~$187), Rs. 14,999 (~$200), and Rs. 16,999 (~$227) respectively.
