The ban came as a result of Twitter deleting a video, posted by the President on his twitter handle which according to tweeter, violates the rules and regulations of the app.
The ban was announced by Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed. He made the suspension in a statement signed by his media aide Segun Adeyemi.
