Welcome to Flippstack, we will be walking you through How To Vote For your favorite Nigerian Idol Season 7 Contestant as the Live Shows begins today the 20th of March 2022 and the Contestants will need your Votes to advance to the Finale.

How Many Times You Can Vote For Any Contestant on the Various Platforms.
Voting Limits & Cost: Each user may cast 100 votes per voting platform per vote round i.e.:
- Web – 100 Votes
- Mobi — 100 Votes
- Network data costs will apply for the use of the internet on web and mobile
- Terms and conditions apply
- MyDStv app or MyGOtv app – Votes are allocated based on your subscription package/tier (active DStv subscribers in selected countries with eligible packages only)
So let’s get started with how you may Vote via the Mobile site (smartphone or tablet) Website (computer), and the MyDStv/MyGOtv App only.
To Vote on the website, mobile site, and the app, the audience will register with their name, surname, year of birth, gender, location, and cell phone number before or during the Voting round
How To Register On The Website and Mobile site
Follow the steps below to register on the Nigerian Idol website and Mobile site.
1. Go to the Africa Magic website —www.africamagic.tv/nigerianidol using your phone or
computer to register to Vote
2. Click on the Vote menu item.
3. Click on Register and enter your name, surname, year of birth, gender, location, and cellphone in the international format e.g.+234731234567 and your preferred password
4. You will receive an OTP (One Time Pin) via SMS.
5. Enter your OTP
6. Once registered, you will be able to Vote.
7. Select your favourite Contestant.
8. Website and Mobile site Votes are free.
9. Data costs apply.
How To Vote On Mobile Site And Website
Now that you are registered on the website, here is how to cast your Vote via Mobile Site and Website:
1. You may Vote for your favourite contestant via the Africa Magic website www.africamagic.tv/nigerianidol
2. Click on the Vote menu item.
3. Click on Login and enter your cell phone number in the international format e.g. +234731234567.
4. Enter your chosen password.
5. Select your favourite contestant.
6. Enter your number of Votes and cast your Vote by clicking VOTE.
7. Votes on the website are limited to 100 Votes per user. Vote on Mobile site is also limited to 100 Votes per user.
8. Website and Mobile Votes are free.
9. Data costs apply.
Note that if you don’t have a computer, you can still use your mobile phone to vote as the website by changing your chrome browser to the desktop via setting and vote.
How to Register and vote via the MyDStv or MyGOtv App (DStv subscribers with eligible packages only)
As stated earlier, Voting can also be done on the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps. Here’s how to
go about it:
1. Get additional Votes with the MyDStv or MyGOtv App.
2. Additional Votes are awarded based on your subscription package or tier
3. Download the MyDStv or MyGOtv App from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
4. Log in to the app by selecting your default country, using your surname or mobile number and your smartcard number.
5. Once you’ve logged into your MyDStv or MyGOtv app account page, look for the “Vote Now” button.
6. Click on Register and enter your name, surname, year of birth, gender, location, and cell phone number in the international format e.g. +234731234567, confirm your smartcard number and your preferred password. You will receive an OTP (One Time Pin) via SMS.
7. Enter your OTP
8. Once registered, you will be able to Vote after the show.
9. MyDStv and MyGOtv App Votes are free.

How To Vote Using MyDStv and MyGOtv app
After registering on the MyDStv and MyGOtv app, read the following steps on how to Vote
if you’re a registered voter (DStv subscribers with eligible packages only):
1. You may vote for your favourite contestant by clicking on the “Vote now” button inside the MyDStv or MyGOtv App.
2. Confirm your smartcard number and enter your cell phone number in the phone number in international format e.g. +234731234567.
3. Enter your chosen password.
4. Select your favourite contestant.
5. Enter your number of Votes and cast your vote by clicking VOTE.
6. MyDStv app or MyGOtv app Votes are allocated based on your subscription package/tier (active DStv subscribers in selected countries with eligible packages only)
7. MyDStv and MyGOtv App Votes are free.
