Regarding the recent update on the engagement of corps members for birth registration by NPC, NYSC, and UNICEF. The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) with the National Population Commission NPC has enlisted the support of NYSC for the registration of 12.7million births in 2023, including the issuance of birth certificates that provides the names and nationality of every child in Nigeria under the age of 5, in 21 States in 456 LGAs and 4,978 wards across the country.

You will be happy to know that NPC has begun the e-recruitment process of Adhoc staff for digital birth registration. Interested applicants can apply as an NYSC Member or Adhoc.

Instructions For Applicants Applying For NPC Birth Registration Recruitment

Instructions that you need to know while applying for the job:

1. Applicant must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN).(NIN) can only be used once to assess the assessment test

2. Applicant must write and pass an assessment test.

3. Be informed that you can not take the assessment test more than once.

4. Applicant must use a device with a camera

5. Applicant’s bank details must be the same as the details that will be collected from his/her NIN

6. Applicant must have a valid educational certificate

7. Applicant must have a valid Gmail account

8. Applicant must score 50% and above on the assessment test.

9. Valid Bank Account Number(only commercial banks are accepted.)

10. Applicant must have a valid phone number.

11. Here are the available 22 States listed for the job – Bauchi State, Bayelsa State, Benue State, Borno State, Cross River, Delta State, Enugu State, Gombe State, Jigawa State, Kaduna State, Kano State, Kogi State, Kebbi State, Lagos State, Nasarawa State, Niger State, Ogun State, Plateau State, Sokoto State, Taraba State, Yobe State, Zamfara State, and FCT.

In addition to the instructions above, Applicants are to turn on the location on their device before starting the application.
