Nigeria’s Ministry of Aviation Receives New Name

The Ministry of Aviation in Nigeria has received a new name. The ministry formerly known as the Ministry of Aviation, is now called the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace.
Following a need to set its policies to allow it meet and prepare for future occurrences, the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, confirmed the change in name.
According to him, the aviation and aerospace are intertwined, hence Nigeria required the need to carry out the action.
Flippstack understands that the change of name was announced by the Minister during the Federal Executive Council Meeting presided by the President in Villa.
The Minister, while explaining the changes st the sidelines of the FEC, said alteration was urgent since it was on the exclusive list.
Sirika who linked the change to the establishment of Aviation University in Abuja, asserted that the future of aviation had experienced an advancement.
