Nasims Apologizes For Erroneous Publication Of August Payment Update

The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has come out to apologize for its earlier publication which stated that the August stipend payment of Npower Batch C1 is currently ongoing.

If you could recall, Nasims stated earlier this month that the August Stipend of Npower Batch C1 beneficiaries has been Initiated and yesterday they announced that crediting of accounts for the August payment is in progress.

However, they have come out to clarify to the Batch C1 beneficiaries that the said publication was intended to give an update on the payment commencement of backlogs and not the August payment.

According to Nasims:

“ERRONEOUS PUBLICATION OF PAYMENT UPDATE.

“We sincerely apologize for the erroneous publication of the payment update.

“The said publication was intended to give an update on the payment commencement of backlogs and not the August payment.

“For clarity’s sake, this update supersedes the previous payment update.

“Meanwhile, the August payment is being worked on, whilst backlogs are being paid.

Thank you!”

All beneficiaries are advised to remain patient as Crediting of the August stipend payment will commence soon.

Npower is working to make sure that they complete the August stipends payment process for Batch C1 beneficiaries and begin payment shortly. For the stream 2 beneficiaries, your first payment will begin a month after the month of resumption.
