About The Oxfam-EDC SME Impact Program
Oxfam believes SMEs have the potential to contribute to sustainable growth through increased employment, higher income, and relevant products and services for people living in poverty, particularly smallholder farmers, youth, and women.
To help SMEs live up to their potential, we know they need more than capital alone. Hence, Oxfam provides tailor-made business development services to support SMEs in Nigeria, Somalia, Uganda, and Vietnam. We select businesses based on an assessment of their plans and financial potential and on the social impact that they expect to deliver for their community. To ensure businesses deliver on the latter, social impact is monitored consistently from the start and measured over a period of time.
We expect entrepreneurs to contribute to the costs of the business development support to some extent.

Requirements
1. Agriculture (the entire value chain), Manufacturing, Producers of Women’s consumer product, ICT, Renewable Energy, Recycling
2. Entrepreneurs between ages: 25 – 40 Years
3. Annual turnover: N40 million & above
4. No of employees: 10 – 250
5. Years of existence: At least 2 years
6. Counterpart/commitment fee if selected: N75,000
Selection Process
We choose firms based on an evaluation of their ambitions and financial prospects, as well as the social impact they hope to have in their community. To ensure that corporations execute on the latter, social impact is tracked from the beginning and measured through time.

Step 1 – Register

Once you have successfully registered, log in and click the “Start Application” button on the Start Application Tab on this page. To return to your application, click the “save and continue” button and come back to it at any time. Once you are done with your application, click on the “Submit” button at the end of the form to send it to us.
Step 3 – Keep Informed
