How much is the exchange rate of Dollar to Naira in the Black Market today?

The exchange rate for a dollar to naira at Lagos Parallel Market (Black Market) players buy a dollar for ₦566 and sell at ₦571 on Tuesday, February 8th, 2022, according to data obtained from Bureau De Change (BDC).

The local currency depreciates as the exchange rate for today opens at 571.00 per $1 at the parallel market otherwise known as the black market, today, Tuesday, 8th January 2022, in Lagos Nigeria, compared to 570 per dollar it opened at the beginning of the week Monday, January 7th, 2022.

Even though the dollar to naira opened in the parallel market at ₦571 per $1 todayFlippstack reports that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognize the parallel market, otherwise known as the black market. The apex bank has therefore directed anyone who requires forex to approach their bank, insisting that the I&E window is the only known exchange.
