NSCDC Shortlists 5000 Applicants To Commence Documentation

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has shortlisted 5000 applicants to commence documentation which will be starting from the 31st of January 2022.

This announcement was disclosed by Mrs. Aisha Rufai, Secretary of the board, during a press briefing on Thursday at the Civil Defence Headquarters in Abuja.

According to Rufai, he stated that the board had approved the final phase of the 2019 recruitment exercise, thereby directing all prospective applicants to check the application portal.

She went ahead to direct screened applicants to visit; http://cdfipb.careers from January 17, 2022, to check for further information as it would only be accessible by successful candidates.

The Secretary, however, noted that the portal wouldn’t be open to candidates who had not been successfully shortlisted.

“Applicants should check for their names, documentation location, guidelines for documentation exercise and print out their invitation slip without which they will not be allowed to participate in the exercise,” she said.

She said that the documentation exercise is to commence from January 31, 2022, and is free.

Also speaking, NSCDC Commandant General, Ahmed Abubakar Audi, stated that the recruitment was specifically for 2019 applicants, noting that after the documentation process, all successful candidates will be invited for training.

Ahmed Abubakar Audi stated that a total of 1,477,32 applicants applied out of which 217,000 successfully updated their records in March 2020. 53116 out of the 217,000 were invited to sit for the CBT test organized by JAMB and 6500 applicants were shortlisted after the test for screening and certificate verification.

The Actual accreditation will start January 31st, 2022 and those that are successful will be able to see their congratulations message while the 1500 applicants who did not make it out of the 5000 will not be able to access the portal.

Hajiya Aisha also list documents that shortlisted applicants will need for accreditation documentation with the following documents:

1. Original and photocopies of credentials

2. Pencil and a pen.

Successfully Shortlisted candidates will be screened and then capture for salary.

Note: You are not required to come to the NSCD headquarters if you are not invited because the Invitation is in batches.
