SMEDAN Laments On Fake N35 Million Loan Scheme
The Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has warned the general public about a fraudulent Loan Scheme claiming to be granting a loan of N35 million.

The Management of SMEDAN via their Instagram official account, warns the public about a fraudulent message sent to members of the public, requesting for 5,000 in order to benefit from N35million loan disbursement.
According to the official statement made by SMEDAN on Thursday:
“The attention of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria, (SMEDAN) has been drawn to the existence of messages going around which claims to be granting a loan of 35 million and asking people to call Mr. Nasir on 08074473030, and also telling people to pay the sum of 5,000 for business plan free and asking them to contact [email protected].
“The Agency wishes to notify the general public that SMEDAN has no dealings or collaborations whatsoever with those behind the message and therefore dis-associates itself from the Organization.
“The general public are therefore warned that SMEDAN will not be liable for any loss arising from any transaction carried out with them.
To be forewarned is to be forearmed. Signed Management.
The general public is hereby advised to disregard any similar message to avoid being scammed.

The SMEDAN Management, in July also disassociated itself from NEDIS COVID-19 Special Fund 2021 for SMEs, Farmers, and Traders, stating that it is not in collaboration with the Nigeria Enterprises Development Interactive Scheme (NEDIS) for any loan Scheme and also making it clear that it will not be liable for any loss arising from any transaction carried out with NEDIS.
According to SMEDAN:
“The attention of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria, (SMEDAN) has been drawn to the existence of an Organization called Nigeria Enterprises Development Interactive Scheme (NEDIS) which claims to be granting a loan called THE NEDIS COVID-19 SPECIAL FUND 2021 for SMEs, Farmers, and Traders.
