NYSC Releases Batch B Stream 1 Deployment Letter

The Management of the National Youth Service Corps has released the 2021 Batch B stream 1 deployment letter also known as Call-up Letter. Those that were deployed will be able to see their deployment letter on their dashboard at https://portal.nysc.org.ng.

What Deployed Prospective Corps Members Must Know/Do

  1. Report on your scheduled Camp reporting date.
  2. Do not travel to the Orientation Camps at night. Break your journey when necessary.
  3. You must register for the COVID 19 Test using the link in your dashboard once deployed.
  4. After Documentation in the Camp, your Date of Birth cannot be changed. Apply for DOB correction before the commencement of the Orientation Camp.
  5. After Documentation in the Camp, your Date of Graduation cannot be changed.
  6. After Documentation in the Camp, your Course of Study cannot be changed
  7. Make sure your Date of Graduation and Course of Study is correct before reporting to the Camp. Do not report to the Camp if there is any discrepancy with the Date of Graduation on your Statement of Result and your Call up Letter. If you have any issues, return to your Institution to sort them out.
  8. After Documentation in the Camp, the passport photographs cannot be changed.
  9. If you are deployed and refuse to report to the Orientation Camp, you will not be automatically revalidated to the next Stream. 10. You can apply for correction of the wrong Gender and Title in the Camp.
  10. You can also apply online for corrections to your Class of Degree, Qualification, and Course of Study. Your Student Affairs Officer (SAO) will treat it.
  11. If there is a disparity in the name on the Statement of Result and that on the Call-up Letter, apply for Name Addition and Removal on your dashboard. Your SAO will process online by uploading backing documents.

Things To Go With To Camp

  1. A pair of NYSC white tennis shoes.
  2. Antiseptics/disinfectants.
  3. Bed items such as bedspread/sheets, pillowcase, pillow, and a wrapper or blanket.
  4. Books you can read during your free time in camp.
  5. Bucket
  6. Dish set such a food flask, spoon, and a drinking cup or flask.
  7. Dishwashing agent
  8. File Jackets
  9. Flashlight (Torchlight)/Rechargeable lamps. If you are going with a flashlight that uses batteries, you should do we to take enough batteries with you.
  10. Hand sanitizer
  11. Medical kit containing medications such as multivitamins, analgesics or pain relievers, antibiotics, prescription tablets for malaria, anti-purging pills, and other medicines that you need to cope with (especially if you know you have some conditions), cotton wool, plasters, methylated spirit, Robb and other things you think you might personally need.
  12. Money and ATM Cards (you should have some money on you because you might need one or two things and you will not want to start borrowing at camp).
  13. Padlocks
  14. Phone charger/Power bank. If possible you can go with an extra battery for your mobile phone or smartphone.
  15. Plain white sneakers or tennis shoes
  16. Provisions
  17. Rubber slippers
  18. Stationery
  19. Toiletries
  20. Towels.
  21. Treated mosquito net.
  22. Underwear (take enough with you that will be sufficient for the period of your stay in camp)
  23. Waist Pouch.
  24. White round neck T-shirt
  25. White shorts
  26. White socks

Note: The 2021 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 Prospective Corps Members PCMs are to register for COVID-19 Test. The NCDC link is on the dashboard of those deployed.
