1. AGSMEIS Loan Update: FG Gives Out Loan To Thousands of AGSMEIS Applicants
The Central Bank Of Nigeria, on 27th July 2021, continued its massive payment of the Agri-Business/Small and Medium Enterprise Investment Scheme Loan to all successful beneficiaries across the federation.
This was confirmed by many applicants of the Scheme who have successfully completed all the procedures required to access the fund. They were credited directly to their bank accounts.
2. NMFB Sends New Directive To TCF And AGSMEIS Loan Applicants
The Nirsal Microfinance Bank has sent a new directive to Covid-19 Targeted Credit Facility (TCF) and Agri-Business/Small and Medium Enterprise Investment Scheme (AGSMEIS) Loan Applicants on what to do in order to avoid being scammed.
The Nirsal Microfinance Bank has come out to warn TCF applicants that the Covid-19 Targeted Credit Facility is a Loan and not a Grant and also bring to their knowledge that NMFB will not ask anybody for money in order to access the loan.
3. FMYSD Insists on Training Before Loan Approval And Disbursement
The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development has Insisted that NYIF beneficiaries will undergo training before loan approval and disbursement.
After the “Account Update” made by the applicants of the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund which was directed by the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, the majority of the applicants thought after the Account Update, the next step will be disbursement of the NYIF loan to the Applicants who had successfully updated their Bank Accounts, assumed cancellation of the “Training”.
In a report, the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development has clarified that the Training of the applicants of the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund is not an option but an essential and compulsory process in assessing the NYIF Loan, which every applicant must undergo regardless of region or calibre.
The successful beneficiaries of the AGSMEIS scheme received vehicles to support their businesses at the NMFB branch in Ikeja.
Nirsal Microfinance Bank disclosed this on their official Twitter handle which the images of some of the beneficiaries receiving the vehicle was also displayed.
