1. Nasims Alerts Npower Batch C Stream 2 On Fake Supplementary Enlistment
NASIMS has warned Npower Batch C Stream 2 beneficiaries over fake Supplementary Enlistment N500 Payment cloned portal.
According to NASIMS, their attention has been drawn to an inappropriate post making rounds in social media announcing the commencement of Npower Batch C Stream 2 selection and payment of #500 for supplementary enlistment.
NASIMS has made it clear that they will never request money from applicants to be shortlisted in any of its programs, as this deceptive approach contradicts the purpose of the scheme and what it stands for.
So applicants are advised to ignore such notice as NASIMS will keep you updated when the selection begins, for now, Batch C Stream 2 selection hasn’t commenced.
2. Update on October and November Stipend Payment
While many beneficiaries of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme are waiting for the payment of their September Stipend, beneficiaries who had received their September Stipends are eager to know the date for the payment of October and November Stipends.
The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS), responding to many of such enquiries, has clarified that it can not exactly state the date for the commencement of the Npower Batch C Stream 1 October and November Stipends payment to the beneficiaries.
NASIMS explained that the payment cycle takes time after beneficiaries’ accounts have been validated, adding that payment of the beneficiaries is not actually executed by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development.
The Npower Management clarified that after the validation of the beneficiary’s bank accounts, the account information is forwarded to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) who then disburses the Stipends to Financial Institutions (Banks).
The banks within the processing period transfer the payment to the beneficiary’s account as a PAID stipend for the month.
NASIMS however encouraged the Npower beneficiaries to remain patient as their October and November Stipends would be paid any time soon.
3. NASIMS Urges Beneficiaries To Ignore Reason if Status says PENDING
The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has encouraged beneficiaries of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme to ignore the Reason attached to the Payroll Section of their NASIMS Profile if their Status says PENDING.
NASIMS made this known in an update, Friday, as the resolution of the Npower Batch C Stream 1 Payment Issues enters the fifth day.
The Npower Management noted that if a beneficiary’s status is PENDING, it is an indication that the beneficiary’s Account has been SUCCESSFULLY VALIDATED.
The Npower beneficiaries with PENDING status should be patient as their payment will soon be made, NASIMS advises.
