It’s no longer news that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu called for an end to fuel subsidies which has led to a significant increase in the price of fuel and Nigerians are considering converting their vehicles to run on natural gas.

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) plans to install compressed natural gas (CNG) dispensers in around 30,000 fuel stations across the country, offering CNG at a cost of N100 to N110 per liter.

The cost of converting internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles to run on natural gas is detailed in a recent infographic data created by HydroCIS in partnership with the Nigeria LPG Association (NLPGA), the Nigerian Gas Association (NGA), the LPG Group of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI), and the Association of Local Distributors of Gas (ALDG).
