NCS Tech-Innovation Development Program For Nigerians With Innovation Ideas

The Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Education has announced the establishment of a Tech Innovation Development Program targeted at fostering new ideas in the ICT sector.

About NCS Tech-Innovation Development Fund

Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), the umbrella body for all Information Technology practitioners and interest groups, is indeed concerned with the current world ratings of Nigeria Information Technology (IT). While appreciating the efforts of the government and other stakeholders in the progress Nigeria has made in promoting and supporting IT development, NCS has noted that a lot still needs to be done

It is obvious that the key ingredients to leapfrogging IT development in this country are research and innovations. NCS introduced NCS Tech-Innovation Development Fund (NTIDF) to provide the necessary support for developmental research and innovations in Information Technology.

What is TIDP?

The goal of the Tech-Innovation Creation initiative is to assist the development of new solutions, tools, and technology that will help the country grow. The Tech-Innovation Development Fund will be used to fund the Tech-Innovation Development Programme.

First Winner – N3,000,000
Second Winner – N2,000,000
Third Winner – N1,000,000

Requirements For NCS Tech-Innovation Development Program

NCS Membership is a prerequisite for participation. (Non-Member can click here to join)
Team participation only is required
A team must not be more than three people (Female participation is encouraged)
Applications are only invited from young innovators, tech start-ups, students, and young academic researchers
An applicant must be a graduate or current student in any tertiary institution
Must demonstrate a strong ability to develop tech-based systems
Applicants should be below 35 years of age
Applications can only be submitted online
