MTN Commence Payment Of Dividend To New Shareholders

If you are one of the new MTN shares subscribers, you will be happy to know that MTN has commenced the Payment Of Dividend on Thursday 28th April 2022.

Flippstack gathered that new shareholders who recently subscribed to the MTN Shares are eligible to receive the proposed 2021 final dividend of N8.57 per share, according to MTN.

The payment which was subject to approval at the MTN Annual General Meeting held on Thursday 28 April 2022 has commenced And the payment was made to those whose names are recorded in the register of shareholders as of 6th April 2022 In addition, new shareholders will also receive one (1) free share for every twenty (20) allotted, subject to a maximum of two hundred and fifty (250) shares, provided you hold the shares allotted to you for 12 months from the date of allotment.

MTN also revealed that over the last three years, the annual dividend paid has grown progressively at an average rate of 29% to N267 billion in 2021.
