Over 40 NMFB AGSMEIS Beneficiaries Empowered With Mahindra Tractors – NMFB

Nirsal Microfinance Bank has revealed that over 40 NIRSAL Microfinance Bank’s AGSMEIS beneficiaries were recently empowered with Mahindra Tractors for their farming activities.

NMFB disclosed this today on their official Twitter account, stating that the gesture was aimed at complementing Federal Government’s/CBN’s effort to boost mechanized farming.

If you could recall in our previous post, the Senior Management of NIRSAL Microfinance Bank disbursed tractors to AGSMEIS Beneficiaries at the flagging off at Spring Field Agro factory, the owners of Mahindra tractors in Kaduna. The bank has today revealed the total number of beneficiaries that received the tractors.

The Agri-Business/Small and Medium Enterprise Investment Scheme is an initiative to support the Federal Government’s efforts and policy measures for the promotion of agricultural businesses and small/medium enterprises (SMEs) as vehicles for sustainable economic development and employment generation.
