1. NASIMS Warns Beneficiaries To  Beware Of Fake Facebook Handles 

The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has sent a warning to Npower Batch C Stream 1 beneficiaries to be careful of FAKE social media handles giving out fake information emanating from the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development Central Management System.

NASIMS disclosed this in an official statement which was titled “PAYMENT COMMENCEMENT DATE OF OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER STIPEND UNCONFIRMED” debunked a claim by a Facebook Handle Nasims.gov.ng  which imitates the posts and styles of the Central System, in a bid to lure the beneficiaries into an established fraudulent net.

According to the Facebook handle which claimed that the Payment of October and November Stipends to the beneficiaries has been scheduled to commence on 8th December 2021.

NASIMS however in a counter and clarification post on Thursday stated that:

For the sake of the gullible and avoidance of false information, payment commencement date of October and November stipends hasn’t been confirmed, for now.

“We are still working on payment issues and hope to finish up soon.

“We shall give an update on the above subject matter when it’s appropriate. Kindly disregard any slated date making the rounds on social platforms and keep observing your dashboard to that effect.”

2. Npower Commence Payment of Unpaid Batch C Stream 1 Beneficiary’s September Stipend

Npower has commenced the payment to Batch C stream 1 beneficiaries who are yet to receive their September stipend after resolving the issue behind them not receiving their payment earlier.

According to a statement by NASIMS:

“This is to inform the affected Batch C 1 Beneficiaries that payment of outstanding September stipend has commenced. You’re by this updates advised to keep closed monitoring on your account for possibility of being credited without alert. Rectification of payment issues are still ongoing. Be rest assured all qualified Beneficiaries will be paid. We sincerely apologize for all inconveniences caused. Thank you!”

3. Npower Minister Travels To the US For Childbirth

According to a report from Sahara Reporters, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq has travelled to the United State of America (USA) to deliver a baby
