1. Payment Has Been Made To Batch A AFJP Farmers – FMARD

The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) has made known that the payment for the Fertilizer Subsidy Grant has been paid to the Batch A AFJP Farmers.

This was disclosed through the FMARD Official Instagram account where they stated that the payment for the Fertilizer Subsidy Grant has been successfully disbursed to Batch A AFJP Farmers. They also urged Farmers who haven’t received theirs to kindly call any of their call center agents in order to rectify the issue.

2. FG Starts Disbursement Of AFJP Farmers Fertilizer Subsidy Grant

If you are one of the AFJP Farmers Fertilizer Subsidy Grant beneficiaries, you will be happy to know that, the Federal Government has commenced the disbursement of the N6,154,802,000 allocated for the 1,209,143 Farmers enumerated under the FMARDPace AFJP Farmers Fertilizer Subsidy Grant Programme.

This was disclosed by farmers enumerated under the programme who have received an alert for their payment but have expressed mixed reactions querying why the amount of money shared to the Farmers is uneven.

This is coming just two weeks after the Federal Government apologized to the Enumerators engaged in the programme, assuring Enumerators that they will receive their complete remuneration without further delay.

Payment Alerts displayed by some of the beneficiaries showed that while many enumerated Farmers were receiving N3,000 as the AFJP Fertiliser Subsidy grant, some farmers received up to N12,000.

3. Collation of Bank Details For The Fertilizer Subsidy Grant Is Currently Ongoing

The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has come out to remind all farmers that the collation of bank details for the fertilizer subsidy grant is currently ongoing, thereby urging farmers to use this opportunity to open an account and provide their Bank Details.

The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) disclosed this in a recent post on their official Instagram account.

FMARD also made it clear that for a farmer to benefit from the Fertilizer Subsidy Grant, he/she must get a bank account with any bank of choice and provide assigned enumerators with his/her bank name and bank account number.
