1. FG Officially Flags Off Npower Batch C
Flippstack understands that the Federal Government has officially flagged off the commencement of the long-awaited Npower Batch C across the federation.
This was made known by the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouk, who disclosed that 510,000 beneficiaries have made the final list of the successful beneficiaries of the 2020/2021 Batch C Stream 1 N-power Programme.
Speaking during the flag-off of the N-power Batch C Stream 1 in Abuja, Monday, the Minister stated that “under Batch C Stream 1, a total of 450,000 beneficiaries have been selected to benefit under the Graduate component, while 60,000 beneficiaries will be Non-Graduate beneficiaries”.
Farouk also made it known that “Batch C is divided into 2 streams: Stream C1 for 510,000 beneficiaries and stream C2 for 490,000 beneficiaries which are to be flagged off at a later date.”.
2. NPower Releases USSD Support Code *45665#
Federal Government has launched the commencement of Npower batch C stream 1, following the flag off of the Programme, the management has released a USSD code to help Npower volunteers access information.
To ensure that the challenges of communication are addressed, regarding the limitation of information flow and internet access across the country, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs has provided access to information via a USSD code. The USSD short code *45665# will provide the required connectivity and technical support for the provision of information services to our beneficiaries”.
In order to use the Npower USSD Short Code, all you need to do is to dial *45665# on your mobile device.
3. Npower Addresses Issue of Batch C Physical Verification
Npower Management has addressed Batch C Applicant regarding the rumour circulating through Social Media which claims that Physical Verification of the batch C N-power Beneficiaries has commenced in some states of the Federation.
Responding to the rumour through their official social media account, they made it known that they are currently not conducting physical verification in any state and also advised all beneficiaries to disregard any news/information concerning physical verification.
4. Npower Batch C Stream 1 Deployment Update
There has been information making the headlines that NASIMS has started the deployment of prospective Npower Batch C Stream 1 beneficiaries who have waited patiently since after completing the online biometrics verification.
Flippstack understands, that there has also been a screenshot shared on Facebook by one of the Beneficiaries who shared his NASIMS Dashboard that clearly indicated, he has been successfully deployed.
So we are using this opportunity to urge all Npower Batch C Stream 1 beneficiaries to kindly check their NASIMS Dashboard to confirm if they have been successfully deployed.
