Chelsea Interested In Traore

Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers powerful winger, Adama Traore this summer, to strengthen their attacking options.

According to Daily Express, The Spanish international could be the next to join Chelsea after Romelu Lukaku completed his return yesterday from Inter Milan.

Traore was a member of the Spanish National Team in the Euro 2020 tournament and Cesar Azpilicueta’s team-mate, he will be looking to join him at Chelsea. He is regarded as one of the fastest players around and a strong dribbler and is thought to be open to the idea of leaving Wolves following the departure of manager Nuno Espirito Santo to Tottenham earlier in the summer.

Former Manchester United Player and English Premier League Legend, Roy Keane has backed Chelsea to clinch the EPL trophy after seeing the signing of Romelu Lukaku.

Roy Keane believes the addition of Romelu Lukaku gives Chelsea that cutting edge over their competitors which makes them the favourie for the title especially after seeing them won the UEFA Super Cup this week.

According to Roy Keane:

“Chelsea has got energy, a new manager, new ideas, and they’ve always had quality,”.

“You were looking at the last year or two going without that out-and-out goalscorer, but Lukaku gives them a great chance.

“He’s guaranteed goals. Chelsea, the way they’re playing, the sharpness, the quality they will have on the ball, it guarantees you 20 goals.”

“I know Liverpool has a lot of players coming back, but I would still be looking at City and Chelsea.

“Unless United or Liverpool pull something out of the bag in the next week or two with a few brilliant signings, I can’t see beyond City or Chelsea.”

Abraham To Set Consider Roma Offer

Roma has joined the race to sign Tammy Abraham who is currently placed on possible transfer by Chelsea especially now Romelu Lukaku has signed for the club.

The Chelsea young center-back has been phenomenal throughout the pre-season with Chelsea after returning back from a season-long loan spell.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel hinted that Trevoh Chalobah may have forced his way into the club’s plans for this season after his strong display against Villarreal on Wednesday.

According to Thomas Tuchel:

“Absolutely that’s why he played,” Tuchel said at his post-game press conference when asked if Chalobah was ready to play in the Premier League.

“He played good against Arsenal and he played a good game also against Bournemouth, then Arsenal, then Tottenham.

“We wanted to have guys on the field who are capable to play 90 minutes. Trevoh was first in training, the very first in training and is physically strong and deserved to play by his performances so far, and again today he was very strong.

“He suffered in some moments but later with Azpi [Cesar Azpilicueta] by his side and Jorgi [Jorginho] close to him and helping him in the tactical organization he stepped again up.

“He never lost face and stayed calm and was physical enough to play 120 minutes. It was quite impressive.

“He forced his way into our thinking. Let’s see how it goes. We still have some days to decide his personal future but at the moment he shows his value to the team.”
