774000 Jobs: Banks Continue Full Payment To Beneficiaries

All the Nigerian Banks involved in the payment of the 774000 Special Public Works Programme have started payment to beneficiaries of the programme in order to clear all the payments as advised by the Federal Governemnt.

Information reaching us here at Flippstack, Access Bank, Fidelity and FCMB had in June commenced the complete payment of N40,000 to participants who had earlier received the initial payment of N20,000 and N60,000 to participants who have not received the first, second and third Stipends.

Mr Festus Kayemo, Minister for State, Labour and Employment, in a statement revealed that Ministry discovered irregularities such as accounts not matching BVNs, multiple accounts bearing a single BVN, non-existent BVNs, etc thereby mandating the participating Banks to rectify all issues before the commencement of the payments.

Other banks which include UBA, Heritage Bank etc, have started the full payment of N60,000 on Monday to the participants after sorting the underlying issues.

The Federal Government revealed earlier this month its plan to conduct a business training which would enable the participants to effectively utilise their 3 monthly Stipends.

The spokesman of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Edmund Onwuliri, disclosed that the Training would be held at each State’s Senatorial Zones plus FCT, adding that the Participants are expected to acquire relevant skills that would enable them to identify and manage micro and small businesses of their own after they exit the ESPW.

    But there should try pay me who has completed everything as there aks for
    My bank FCMB. Please FG should give them order to me and others that have not received enermoth ,
